Harding University High School got a special treat for the students, staff, alum, and community…a brand new gymnasium. I had an opportunity to get a VIP 1st look at the new facility thanks to my buddy Principal Ward.

The new gymnasium can hold anywhere from 1500 -2200 people. That is a huge increase from the old gymnasium which held about 500-800 people. The gym has huge locker rooms, a referee lounge, and a bathroom with showers, a laundry room, and more. The scorer’s table has a 50 inches screen built into it. My favorite element of the gym is the pictures. They were taken by Coach Zimmerman, the track & field coach at Harding. The new gymnasium will only be used for athletic events and programs.
