Recycle Your Electronics With Mecklenburg County Recycling Event This Weekend

If you are like me, when I get rid of batteries, computers, anything electronics related, I always feel hesitant of whether or not I should even throw in the trash….

CHESHIRE, UNITED KINGDOM – APRIL 11: A recycling centre is seen on April 11, 2006 in Cheshire, England. The world’s population is more environmentally aware now than ever with emissions being cut and rubbish recycling at it’s highest. However experts have announced that current levels of the greenhouse gases carbon dioxide and methane in the atmosphere are higher now than at any time in the past 650,000 years. If you are like me, when I get rid of batteries, computers, anything electronics related, I always feel hesitant of whether or not I should even throw in the trash.

In my area, a lot of times you could call and schedule a pickup of certain items. With this recycling event, you can bring working electronics over to the North Mecklenburg County Recycling Center. Protecting the environment should be a priority, so disposing of items in the right way is a must. This event is going on today and tomorrow.
