Courtesy of Netflix.Listen, I absolutely LOVED Bridgerton! I mean loved it. When I heard the announcement from Lady Whistledown saying the new season would start filming this Spring, I could hardly contain myself.
Bridgerton was great to me for a lot of reasons. One of those was it was great to see a movie where black people weren't slaves. While that is a part of history, sometimes you don't want to see it over and over again. Seeing black people portrayed as Duke's and more was so awesome to see! Bridgerton was nominated for Drama Ensemble and Rege-Jean Page (Duke of Hastings) was nominated for Drama Actor. This next season is going to be lit!
