Remember the story of an Amazon worker who was disabled and sleeping on the streets of Charlotte because of no affordable housing? Well, Tina Quizon our Navy Veteran, saw him and helped to get that story into the Observer. On top of that, some very kind folks in the community raised money to get him into a hotel. That's just one story of many others that Tina was involved with, that why we call Tina a "One Woman Media Network" who has had press passes to the Whitehouse! Yes, that's just part of the story. Read on!!!!!!!!!!!

After spending more than 36 years living life in Hawaii, this community-hearted woman has covered stories at the United Nations, Sports - NFL, PGA, STEM and Health, Finance and Fashion. Tina has been recognized and honored by film festivals from New York. Tina Quizon's stories and coverage span the East Coast, Las Vegas, New Orleans, and of course working in Japan, the Philippines & Seoul Korea, covering Presidents, Secretaries of State, and over 21 world leaders. To put the cherry on top, Tina has covered industries such as Technology to Science to Business for the Environment and Anti-poverty.

Now, let go back to Hawaii where she started hosting and producing her own weekly TV show, and radio programs. This woman was editing audio and video before smartphones, all on her own. Her superpowers are fed by the many collaborations over the years, for example during Fashion Week Tina worked with William Squire, an international model, Hollywood Agent, and the author of - “the Models workbook”, how to avoid the dangers, tramps, scams of modeling & safety tips and intro into the fashion and the entertainment industry, also the author of “The Secret to the beautiful you; celebrating your beauty from the inside out. Also, an interview with Starr Sheppard who was not only a successful Olympian Gymnast but is an Equestrian champion and still a current horse rider/trainer

Let's roll into Tina's life doing stories in 2020 and the effects of COVID 19: Feb 2020 in Las Vegas on ABC 13 news story with reporter Joe Bartel regarding the criminal justice system, uncovering concerns about the early releases from prison to what is basically just house arrest.  April 2020 the PGA canceled the Zurich Classic in New Orleans and the Executive Women’s Event, but Tina still showed up and filmed the emptiness of bourbon street, and then covered the miles of lines of folks just trying to receive food. Along her journey, she actually thanks, people! Who does that?! During that time she was still covering the effects of Covid 19 in Hawaii

In November 2020, Charlotte Observer reporter Theodan Jane contacted Tina about her endeavors to help a homeless young man by the name of Keith Foster who was wheelchair-bound, and an Amazon worker get shelter. Many people helped, like, Kymm McLean and the CLT community who stepped up & united to support Keith and his dog Tori, to get both off the streets and into a place to stay while raising over $20,000 dollars for him.

A famous Tina Quizon quote is, "Never underestimate your voice, and what one person's impact could be, or can do, I like to say NO means - New Opportunity by helping others to find inclusiveness, as an “Independent” Media person."

When asked, what's next, Tina is focusing on being at the forefront of media, reminding others to keep the hope,  You can find Tina online here. On YouTube and Twitter
