York County Mass Shooter Identified As Former NFL Player

The gunman that killed 5 people in York county has been identified as former NFL player Phillip Adams.
Authorities where called to a home yesterday around 4:45pm. When they arrived, they found 5 people dead; Dr. Robert Lesslie, his wife, Barbara Lesslie, their 2 grandchildren, Adah Lesslie, 9, and Noah Lesslie, 5, and James Lewis. A 6th person was also shot and taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police searched for hours before finding Adams dead in a nearby home a little after midnight. Sources say he killed himself with a .45 caliber weapon.
Adams was born on July 20, 1988 in Rock Hill. He graduated from Rock Hill High School and later attended South Carolina State, where he played football. He was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in 2010 and went on to play for the New York Jets, Seattle Seahawks and Atlanta Falcons.
The investigation is ongoing.
