THE GREATEST RAPPER OF ALL TIME in my opinion is Christopher Wallace aka Notorious B.I.G. aka Biggie Smalls aka Frank White.  I actually fell in love with hip hop when I heard Biggie’s song Juicy.  As soon as he started rapping “it was all a dream used to read word up magazine” I was paying attention like I was in class taking notes for an upcoming test.  I was hooked, I literally listened to almost every song and surely bought every album he made or was a part of.  His 1st album “ready to die” is a certified classic and was the 2nd album I bought on my own with my own money.

When Biggie was in the so called “beef” with Tupac and the west coast in my mind there was no debate as to who was winning because Biggie had the better song he recorded Who Shot ya and What’s Beef, while they weren’t direct shots at Tupac the subliminal messages in each song made everyone think he was talking about Tupac.

When he was killed it almost felt as if no one wanted to listen to rap anymore because Biggie was a fun lovable kind of guy in the eye of the public and people never thought anyone would want to cause any harm or danger to him.  His music lives on today and are instant classics, people can quote a biggie song today 25+ years after his passing.
