Two months after a jury found him guilty of 2nd and 3rd degree murder in the death of George Floyd, Derek Chauvin is set to be sentenced on Friday, June 25th.

A judge is expected to hand down a sentence that could land Chauvin in prison for up to 30 years. Chauvin, who has yet to comment on the May 2020 incident, is expected to speak before he learns of his fate.  Chauvin is accused of killing Floyd by kneeling on the handcuffed man’s neck and ignoring his repeated pleas that he couldn’t breathe. The incident sparked nationwide protests.

What do you think the sentence will be?
