It’s national strawberry Sunday day and it had me thinking, where can I get some yummy strawberry ice cream in the Charlotte area to celebrate? While many American cities still contend with being the birthplace of the sundae during the 1880s, one thing is certain: the sundae is a favorite dessert among Americans.

Some people love it and some people will pass, but for National Strawberry Sunday Day I say let’s all get ice cream. Even if strawberry ice cream isn’t your scoop of choice, you can cool down on this hot summer day with some local sweet treats.
