While Chipotle made a grand attempt at generosity last week, many of its employees are saying it was a disaster. Chipotle ran a promotion where customers received a BOGO deal on burritos when they said the phrase “Friends BOGO.” Many employees working the event, though, said it was a disaster and lead to long lines, shortages, and infighting. One employee said that he and his staff were forced to cut corners, saying, “I’ve never seen food served at a lower standard at my store.” Did you participate in Chipotle’s BOGO day? If so, how was your experience?
