At an New Jersey mall, a white woman chased a Black woman around a Victoria’s Secret and the incident was recorded in multiple clips that were uploaded to YouTube.

The woman is being named “Victoria’s Secret Karen” on social media as she’s seen in the video breaking down in tears and later appearing to “pass out” on the floor of the lingerie store.

Ijeoma Ukenta, who is Black, says she started recording because “Karen” allegedly went from being the aggressor to a victim once she brought her phone out.

“I never thought nothing like this would ever happen to me,” Ukenta said in the video. “She just tried to run and hit me.”

“Victoria’s Secret Karen” who is later identified as Abigail Elphick, denied Ukenta’s accusation, “No, I didn’t,” she cries in response.

Elphick in the second video begins screaming at Ukenta, “Get away from me” and starts running in her direction through the store.

Local police and mall security were later notified of the incident and neither Ukenta or Elphick were arrested, according to TMZ.

Ukenta has now set up a GoFundMe page named “Help Me Defend Myself Against Karen” in order to pay for  legal representation as she plans to press charges on Elphick for the incident.

In her statement on her GoFundMepage, Ukenta calls out the local police and mall security for not aiding her:

“I am a Black Muslimah Nigerian AM and I was treated like it was 1920 in Short Hills Mall. I was assaulted and harassed by a white woman and nothing was done by security nor the police.”

The GoFundMe page has already surpassed Ukenta’s goal of $20,000 as she’s raised over $35,000 in donations. The video has gone viral gaining over 150,000 views for each clip.

There has been no public statement made on Elphick’s behalf.
