Queen Naija Checks Critics Over BBL Surgery
A fan claims R&B singer Queen Naija is a hypocrite for promoting self-love when the singer herself has had plastic surgery. The fan wrote, “will never get over how @queennaija was telling mfs to love themselves how they are and then got a BBL like OKAY MISS MAMAS”.
will never get over how @queennaija was telling mfs to love themselves how they are and then got a BBL 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 like OKAY MISS MAMAS— Amb 😇 (@halaljello) July 20, 2021
However, Queen Naija wasn’t having it and clapped back at the critic. The songstress wrote to Twitter, “the song was speaking to myself. the song was about not letting a man stop you from knowing your worth and being you, it had nothing to do with whether I decided to get a BBL or not, but I guess you’re just a little too shallow to understand.”

Queen Naija has been open about her surgery and said she is “really happy about the results” in 2017.
“I basically got a tummy tuck and I got my hernia repaired around my belly navel, it would puff out because of my loose skin. I had really really bad fibrosis from the smart lipo I got two years ago,” the “Bitter” singer said in a YouTube video after the birth of her son earlier that year per Vibe.
“I do love myself but at the same time, you have to make yourself happy,” she said back in 2017. “You don’t have to look in the mirror and see what I see. At the end of the day, I’m the one who has to put up with my self-esteem. I tried to diet and workout but I didn’t see any results in my stomach area [because of c-section].”
Fans were quick to defend the singer:
the song WAS ABOUT INNER HAPPINESS AND FINDING THE BALANCE OF WHAT PEACE MEANS TO HER.. BUT DONT ACT LIKE THERES NOTHING YOU WOULDNT CHANGE ABOUT YOURSELF EITHER WE ALL BEEN THERE IN SOME FORM OR ANOTHER.. YALL JUST LOVE TO SPEW NEGATIVITY TOWARDS HER YALL NOT TIRED YET— Takeesa SIMMS (@SimmsTakeesa) July 21, 2021

Queen Naija shared her opinion with TheShadeRoom’s Instagram account saying how she would lose telling the truth or lying about it.
