And unlike this time a year ago students, alumni, and fans will be in the stands cheering on their favorite teams.   Coastal was the cinderella story of college football going undefeated in the regular season with some wins over big name teams. After a crushing loss in the Camping World bowl they look to continue to dominate the Sun Belt.

• NC State

  Coming off a sucessful season but disapointing Gator Bowl loss NC State finally gets back quarterback Devin Leary. Returning many starters on offense and defense expectation are high for the Pack this season and against South Florida Thursday night.

• South Carolina

  After a terrible 2020 season the Gamecocks look to get off on a winning foot this weekend against Eastern Illinois.
• Charlotte

  Charlotte kicks off the season against in state ACC foe Duke. After playing a limited season with lots of Covid interruptions the 49ers are ready for a fresh start.

• Duke

  Duke takes on in state Charlotte in their season opener. They are looking to get a win under their belt to set the tone for the 2021 season before ACC play begins.

• East Carolina

  ECU went 3-6 in 2020 and has a tough challenge in Appalachian State to begin the 2021 season.
• Clemson

  Share

  Clemson looks to make another College Football Playoff run and remain at the top of ACC. This year however they won't have Trevor Lawrence at the helm.

• North Carolina

  Share

  The Tarheels open the season with high aspirations after making the Orange Bowl in 2020. Quarterback Sam Howell's name has been mentioned in the Heisman race. They will open the season in a rowdy Lane Stadium against a fired up Hokie team.

• Appalachian State

  App State kicks off the season under the lights at Bank of America Stadium. They take on struggling in state rival ECU.
• Wake Forest

  After going 4-5 in 2020 Wake Forest is excited to start fresh in 2021. They have been to 5 straight bowl games and look to get a win against Old Dominion to get a jump start on a 6th straight.
