Photo by Mike Comer/Getty Images)The Carolina Panthers start the season 2-0 after beating the New Orleans Saints 26-7. Sam Darnold had a great game as he went 26-38 305 yards 2 TDs and 1 INT. The story was about the defense though, last week the saints had an amazing showing against the Green Bay Packers and Jameis Winston threw for 5 TDs but this week that Panthers D held Winston to just 88 passing yards, he was sacked twice, and threw 2 INTs.
With Sam Darnold at the helm and weapons around him such as C Mac DJ Moore and Robbie Anderson with a stout defense the Panthers in these first two weeks look like a formidable playoff contending team.
