Get ready for all the basic ladies to show up for Fall. By the end of the summer, the leaves will change from crisp green to beautiful burnt orange. We'll be switching our favorite sneakers for leather boots and getting ready to go leaf-peeping to kick off the fall season.

Taking the number one spot for the perfect fall selfie is Cape Cod in Massachusetts. Tourists should head to Cape Cod mid to late October to get the best view of the fall foliage. Nothing beats seeing red, orange, and yellow leaves amid a backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean, it’s no surprise it has 3 million photos under the hashtag.

Luckily for all the fall lovers, Asheville is known for having one of the longest and most vibrant fall color seasons in the country! The North Carolina city takes the second-place spot on our list with 2,386,062 photos under the hashtag on Instagram. The best time to go leaf-peeping is between 12-28th October, we recommend visiting Rough Ridge on Tanawha Trail, Beacon Heights Trail, and Whiteside Mountain Trail to see peak foliage which will make the perfect backdrop for a selfie!

If you’re looking to get into the fall season early, Aspen’s fall foliage season starts early from the 5-14th October. With 1.6 million photos under the hashtag, you can see why Aspen is such a popular spot for leaf-peeping and takes third place on our list. Aspen trees turn bright gold, with yellows, oranges, and reds which is a must-have on your Instagram feed.

Southern Utah is a stunning place to visit all year round and leaf-peeping season makes Zion National Park even more magical. Get ready to grab your camera as Zion National Park is the fourth most instagrammable place on our list. The best time to visit is from the 5th-21st October to catch the red and gold foliage which brighten the desert landscapes making it the perfect photo opportunity.
