Charlotte’s largest Ethiopian Coffee Ceremony is coming on Saturday October 16th and it’s something that you do not want to miss.
Recently, my best friend introduced me to authentic Ethiopian cuisine and I haven’t looked back sense. I have wanted to learn more and more about Ethiopian culture and I’ve heard about the upcoming Tesfa Ethiopian Coffee Ceremony! Click here to view the flyer.
After hearing about this event, I decided to do a little research. The first thing that I found out is that this ceremony is a major part of the social Ethiopian culture. If you receive an invitation to a ceremony, this is a major deal. It is considered an extension of respect and friendship.
If you didn’t know, when it comes to coffee in Africa, Ethiopia is the largest producer. I am really excited about this event and I am going to try to attend if I can.
