Ive been a fan of Joyner Lucas and J. Cole for a while now, but this new collaboration is everything we didn't know music needed.
Watching this video, it's pretty evident that we are seeing two different outlooks on one relationship. One is from the boyfriend (Joyner), and the other is from J. Cole (the friend/the realist). Apparently the girlfriend has been sort of acting out and J.Cole is trying to keep it real with his friend that his actions are also to blame for her doing the things that she's doing.
J.Cole could also be looked at the other side of Joyner telling him the side of the situation that he isn't looking at. I'm telling you, a lot of women are going to feel a connection to this song. I'm sure there will be men that will as well, but I think it's going to sit with women a lot more. What are your thoughts?
