Want to take a drive to the beach to get your zombie walk on? If you are up for a ride, Fayetteville, North Carolina is hosting its 11th zombie walk this month.
On October 22nd in downtown Fayetteville, you can join your fellow 'undead' in the Cool Spring Downtown District. The Zombie Walk is an organized public, family-friendly gathering of people dressed in zombie costumes. The walk will be from 6 to 10 p.m.
According to The Fayetteville Observer, the "zombies" gather together to walk but this year the procession has been canceled and they are instead invited to walk the downtown streets through public spaces. In addition to the walk, there will also be a costume competition. There will be a costume competition for ages zero to 13 and for 14 and older, with first, second, and third prizes for the winner as well.
