ABC is honoring the women who’ve evolved hip hop to where it is today.

Real Queens of Hip Hop: The Women Who Changed The Game will premiere on ABC Monday, Oct. 18.

Narrated by Salt of legendary rap group Salt-N-Pepa, the one-hour special will document the role women have played in changing the hip-hop landscape.

The program will highlight current superstars like Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, and City Girls as well as the women who paved the way including Queen Latifah, Missy Elliot, MC Lyte, and more. The intimate interviews will give insight into the rapper’s personal struggles and overcoming gender bias in hip-hop.

“What have women in hip hop given to the culture? Everything,” ABC News tweeted. “From @mclyte, @DaRealMonieLove ,@IAMQUEENLATIFAH, & @MissyElliott to @MsLaurynHill, @TheRealEve, @citygirls, @sosobrat, @iamcardib, @NICKIMINAJ, @theestallion. “I grew up listening to and loving the pioneering work of female emcees and was amazed by how much I learned when previewing this special,” Marie Nelson, senior vice president of integrated content strategy at ABC News said per VIBE. “With projects like ‘The Real Queens of Hip-Hop,’ ABC News and ABC Entertainment are working to super-serve culturally diverse and multigenerational audiences with authentic and relevant storytelling that widens the lens and places their experiences at the center.

However, some fans noticed two important figures were left out of the lineup: Lil Kim and Foxy Brown.

As of now, neither Lil Kim nor Foxy Brown has publicly announced why they are not in the special but fans are assuming it’s because ABC overlooked the legendary MCs. Check out how fans are reacting to Lil Kim and Foxy Brown being allegedly excluded:
