Do you love to get out and be social but maybe drinking isn't your thing? Well, Charlotte which has been criticized by many as not being exceptionally non-alcohol friendly, will be home an alcohol-free party. The party is being hosted by the Counterculture Club. The event scheduled for this Friday, October 22nd will take place at the Not Just Coffee in Wesley Heights. It will feature food, non-alcoholic drinks, live music, as well as tarot card readings.
The Counterculture Club is an alcohol-free community for women in Charlotte. They offer sobriety coaching and events in Charlotte. They acknowledge that it can be difficult to make friends and find ways to socialize while remaining sober. The group gives those individuals opportunities to develop relationships with like-minded people. The event called Wellbeing Bar is aimed at letting the community experience what the Counterculture Club is all about.
The alcohol free event runs from 6-9 pm. It will feature non-alcoholic beverages from a variety of places including Athletic Brewing, Kin Euphorics, Blue Blaze Brewing, Wellbeing Brewing Company, and Updog Kombucha. There will be live music, giveaways, tarot card readings, as well as food from Farm To Your Table.
Tickets are free for Counterculture Club Members. Not a member? No worries. Tickets are available in advance for $20 or $25 on the day of.
