The highly-anticipated comedy-drama Insecure, starring show creator Issa Rae, made its return last night for its final season premiere.
HBO’s Insecure aired 10pm EST/7pm PST for its #SeasonByve premiere. Season five’s first episode leads with the L.A. friend group all meeting up at their alma mater Stanford for the 10-year college reunion. Relationships between Issa and her best friend Molly as well as the “oops baby drama” between her and her ex-boyfriend Lawerence take the backseat for this one weekend.
Insecure‘s rollout for the final season included the “Insecure Fest” hosted in L.A. over the weekend where all the cast members came out to celebrate the show’s premiere. The set resembled the character’s hot spots in the show including “The Dunes” apartment building and musical acts such as Jazmine Sullivan took the main stage.
