SouthPark, Concord Mills, and the Premium Outlets were all closed Sunday due to the inclement weather that came through the Charlotte Mecklenburg area. There were also 41k people throughout the state of NC who were without power according to Governor Roy Cooper and they were working to get that power restored as soon as possible.
Leaders in the city are begging people not to be on the roads today or tomorrow because of the weather and the closings of those malls is just the company’s way of trying to play their part in keeping people at home and off of the roads.
