If you didn’t know, there is a beautiful ballpark in Kannapolis called Atrium Park. Today they celebrated MLK Day with Dream Day at the park.
The celebration came a day before we got snow here in the the Queen City. During the event, complimentary hot dogs were given. They opened some concessions with additional items as well. Celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. King is a big deal. Any activist that put their lives on the line to make the world a more equal place deserves to be celebrated.
Join us today from 10am to 3pm as we celebrate Dr. King and his legacy at MLK Dream Day at Atrium Health Ballpark! Complimentary hot dogs (limit 1 per person) will be available at our concession stand, courtesy of Gordon Food Service. pic.twitter.com/0f7PoD39Qm— Kannapolis Cannon Ballers (@Kcannonballers) January 15, 2022
The drum line from A.L. Brown High made an appearance at the event as well.
