Hornets Win Despite Doncic’s 37 Points
Miles Bridges put the team on his back Saturday night leading the team with 23 points and putting his full athleticism on display as the hornets defeated the Dallas Mavericks 129-108. Six other hornets players scored in double figures with PJ Washington putting up 21 points, Isaiah Thomas came off the bench with 11 points, Lamelo and Kelly Oubre Jr both had 17 points, and Terry Rozier had 18 points.
It almost seems as if the Hornets have found their stride. They had won their previous 3 games but they were against teams in the lower half of their conferences but getting a win against a mavericks team who was one of the hottest teams in the league coming into this game gives this team the confidence that they need to go into the last stretch of the season.
Luka Doncic lead all scorers with 37 points but it wasn’t enough as he didn’t get any help from his teammates and the Mavericks fell short in the matchup.
