Photo by Tim Nwachukwu/Getty ImagesThe Charlotte Hornets defeated the Washington Wizards in their regular season finale to finish with 43 wins, their most since the 2015-2016 season. They will play the Atlanta Hawks in the play in tournament tied with them as both teams post a record of 43-39.
They will have to travel to Atlanta to take on the Hawks hopefully becoming the 8th seed in the east. LaMelo Ball almost had another triple double having 24 points 10 Rebouds and 9 assists. Terry Rozier lead the team in points posting 25.
The wizards Rui Hachimura lead the team with 21 points and Corey Kispert had 20 points. The hornets will play their first play in game this Wednesday April 13 in Atlanta against the Hawks.
