I love a good flea market and a great farmers market even better. The Uptown Farmers market opens for it’s new season today.

If you are looking for something to do today, this is the perfect chill outing. I always come up on some great finds at farmer’s markets. The farmer’s market will be located at 300 S. Davidson Street.

The great thing about this farmer’s market, is they accept SNAP/EBT. What you have to do is visit the SNAP tent. You will utilize your benefits to purchase as many $1 tokens as you would like. You can use these tokens as cash. I even found out that they can match your cash on hand, dollar for dollar, but its up to $50. That is still a great deal! Checkout this farmer’s market and let me know what you think. It kicks off at 8:30 – 12:30. It’s open rain or shine!
