Don’t Eat Ground Beef Until You Read This
A New Jersey company is recalling over 60 tons of ground beef over E. coli concerns. While there have been no confirmed reports of illnesses connected to the meat, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety division is warning people not to consume the potentially tainted ground beef. All affected products were made between Feb. 1st and April 8th and have an establishment number of EST 46841. They were sold under the brand names Nature’s Reserve, Weis, Thomas Farms, Marketside Butcher, and Tajima, per the Department of Agriculture. Health officials are urging people who bought any affected products should be thrown out or returned for a refund at the place of purchase.
