Rod Wave is from St. Pete and Florida was the place he was arrested. The rappers real are is Rodarious Green. If you remember, his first single "Heart on Ice" had the music scene on fire. I remember when the song first dropped, I played it in the club and the entire club was singing the song to the top of their lungs. I knew then that he was onto something.
According to Gossip Of The City, Rod Wave was arrested in Florida on battery charges. Also according to Gossip Of The City, there was no bond set. The battery charges allegedly stem from an attempted strangulation. Whatever is going on, if there was no bond set, this is something serious. Twitter has early reactions to Rod Wave being arrested.
