I really like Taraji as the host for the awards. I like Taraji period, so naturally I am going to love her for this. BET made the announcement today that she would be returning as the host. I wouldn't mind seeing her along side Cardi B or even Lizzo too for a few promos for the awards show.
I have never had a chance to attend the BET Awards. I have covered the red carpet for the BET Hip Hop Awards. That was a great time, so I can only imagine how dope covering the BET Awards would be. A lot changed with COVID. The red carpet and even the radio room was done digitally. This happen when various radio stations are setup in a room and the artist go around from station to station doing interviews. I think this year, like last, will be different and even more in person.
