Taraji P Henson Returns As The Host For The BET Awards

The BET Awards are back June 26th, and Taraji P. Henson will return as the host for the infamous awards show.

I really like Taraji as the host for the awards. I like Taraji period, so naturally I am going to love her for this. BET made the announcement today that she would be returning as the host. I wouldn’t mind seeing her along side Cardi B or even Lizzo too for a few promos for the awards show.

I have never had a chance to attend the BET Awards. I have covered the red carpet for the BET Hip Hop Awards. That was a great time, so I can only imagine how dope covering the BET Awards would be. A lot changed with COVID. The red carpet and even the radio room was done digitally. This happen when various radio stations are setup in a room and the artist go around from station to station doing interviews. I think this year, like last, will be different and even more in person.

Whether it's radio or TV, there is someone needed who can add the bang for the buck! Vonyetta is double that bang. Having held the spot as the #1 midday personality in the Charlotte market landed her awards for “Favorite Midday Personality” in 2014 and “Best Midday Show” in 2016 for the “Best In The City Awards.” Besides spending time with family, Vonyetta enjoys writing about things happening in the black community of Charlotte.
