People don't give the choir director the respect they deserve when it comes to the role they play. The choir director in essence is the hype man/woman of the church. When a song is going great if they feel the spirit they can keep the song going which gets the entire church up on their feet and feeling the spirit, they can stop the music and keep the choir singing acapella which also get the church up on their feet and they can be the one who feels the spirit which gets everyone feeling the spirit because when the spirit hits you it can move through everyone there.
