Black Teen Racing Prodigy finishes top 3 in Charlotte
Rajah Caruth is a rising junior at Winston Salem State University. On top of having to keep his grades up he also has to keep up with other racers in the Nascar series in order to be tasing about as one of the greats in the sport. Rajah is only 19 years old and has only been racing for 5 years. He was discovered racing online in the racing league. He would dominate the competition online while racing against some of those who are veterans. He began to get noticed and was invited to NASCAR to compete in an actual race car.

Rajah competed in the General Tire 150 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. in a very intense and close race Rajah came across the finish line in 3rd place. Although it wasn’t the result he may have wanted there was still history in this race. He was 1 of 3 black drivers in the race and it was the first time an actual NASCAR vehicle with a HBCU logo on the hood actually competed in a NASCAR race.
