DMV Area Mass shooting
There was another shooting this past week and it happened in the DMV area at a shopping mall in Prince George’s county. This time it hit me different because I was there when it happened. I wasn’t at the shooting I had a show in DC and the vibe in the entire city was just off.
You know you can just tell when something is wrong and people are focused on something outside of what they came to do that’s the feeling I got when I arrived in DC for my show. After the shooting in the mall the next day people began protesting in they called the March for our lives Protest.
I’m not sure what’s going on with people in our country and why senators are finding every excuse in the book to make for these shootings but it won’t end and change won’t be made until black men and women start committing gun crimes or until one of these senators and politicians child or family member gets hurt or injured due to gun violence. I hate to say it like that and sound so insensitive but that is the only time true change is ever made.
