Happy Pride Month! Even though it’s pride month, some residents are outraged over a same sex photo removed from a Gaston County Museum.

There was a photo of a same sex couple in a museum in Gaston County. The couple was celebrating their engagement. According to WBTV, the City Manager asked for the photo to be removed. They wanted something that would be “more considering to differing viewpoints in the community”.I really think this was unnecessary. If you have a different viewpoint, then keep walking. That picture was hurting no one. If the City Manager felt they wanted something with different viewpoints, then why not add another picture? Continue to add more and continue to make it diverse? That is true art.

According to WBTV, the county is working with the artist to find something that would replace the photo. Either way, they are doing way too much. How is this photo bothering anyone. I think we have become so sensitive that we just let the wrong things get to us.
