Hornets bring back old coach to be new Head Coach
The Charlotte Hornets hired Steve Clifford to be their head coach AGAIN. And I now understand why Kenny Atkinson didn’t want to come be a part of this organization. Steve Clifford was the head for the Hornets from 2013-2018 leading the hornets to the playoffs twice and was re hired by the hornets to try and lead this team back to the playoffs.
The team had a 196-214 record during his run. His 196 victories rank second in franchise history, just 11 behind Allan Bristow. I’m not sure what it is about Clifford but the reason he was let go the first time is because allegedly he couldn’t get along with the players and this team that he is getting now is even younger than the team he had before.
What do you think the Hornets need to do to become a consistent force in the eastern conference other than get rid of certain people in the front office?
