Yesterday, VP Kamala Harris visited the Queen City and shut traffic down throughout the Queen City.

If you were wondering why there was a heavy police presence and why you were unable to get on some interstates, this was why. Yesterday there was heavy congestion in the city between about 11:30-4:30 due to the VP’s visit. She visited the Carole A. Hoefner Center where she discussed affordable housing and high speed internet. She later spoke with legislation on abortion access. The city was pretty much shut down uptown due to her visit and safety. Did you catch the motorcade?
