Iman Shumpert Arrested For Weed Possession At Dallas Airport: Report

Iman Shumpert was reportedly arrested on drug charges.
According to a police report reviewed by gossip site TMZ, the NBA star was taken into custody at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport Wednesday (August 3). While attempting to board a flight to Los Angeles, TSA found a plastic bag filled with a “green leafy substance” in Shumpert’s bag, which he admitted was weed. The substance reportedly weighed 6.12 ounces and the NBA star tested positive for marijuana.
Law enforcement officials told the outlet that he also “had a Glock magazine and 14 9mm rounds in his bag” but no gun.
TMZ reports that the athlete faces up to two years behind bars and a $10,000 fine.
