R.Kelly’s setbacks are continuing for him. We now will have to report even more bad financial news for R.Kelly.
A while back, there was talks of freezing money that R.Kelly had in his commissary account. R.Kelly was convicted of racketeering and sex trafficking earlier this year. With that conviction, he was ordered to pay a $100,000 in fines related to this case. R.Kelly is no stranger to money issues. He allegedly was having those issues upon entering jail. Now that he is convicted, he is in prison and now only has $500 left in his commissary account. That is some wild stuff right there!
R.Kelly had a little over $27k in his commissary account. That has got to be one hurtful feeling. I’m sure since these monies were frozen, anything else that goes into that account will be frozen until the $100k fine amount is met. R.Kelly is currently on state trial for similar charges. Most recently, a juror was dismissed after having a panic attack. With a federal 30 year sentence, R.Kelly will not be released anytime soon. With fighting the current state charge, if convicted, things will not be good for Kellz.
