Becker’s Hospital Review discusses the findings in the report to show the top 15 cities for the sandwich generation to live in. Taking over 2,000 cities and towns to research and data to determine their list. Taking things into consideration such as school districts, graduation rates, nursing homes, home health care agencies, healthcare providers, and more. Findings from the report show that communities in the Midwest, West, and mid-Atlantic are more likely to offer better access to healthcare professionals and public schools.

One North Carolina city made the top 5 for the sandwich generation. Morrisville, North Carolina ranks as the No. 5 city for the sandwich generation. This town is right outside of Charlotte, North Carolina, and part of Iredell County. No other Carolina cities made the top 15, but coming in at No. 1 is Ann Arbor, Michigan.
