Nicki Minaj and Latto currently have beef. They have been going back and forth with each other on Twitter. I understand both sides and here is why the beef is valid.

So Grammy submissions are underway. Nicki Minaj submitted for her single "Super Freaky Girl" to be in the rap category. The Grammy committee made the decision to move her song into the pop category. Nicki Minaj then went on to talk about basically there is an agenda to push black women out of hip hop. I actually do understand what Nicki is saying. She is creating crossover music and want it to be recognized as such. I have seen a ton of times where there have been songs in the rap or hip hop category in an awards show and it clearly did not deserve to be there. Is it possible she is suggesting the move is racial?

Now how does Latto fit into this equation. Well, Nicki said that if Big Energy should be considered a pop record as well. She is saying that Big Energy should be removed as well. They have the same producer as well. Latto has said that Nicki has been throwing shots through sub tweets for a while and she decided to air it out. She released a call that she recorded on Twitter.

She is not playing with Nicki you hear me?
