If you haven’t seen Black Panther 2, you need to. I will try not to give too many spoilers, but there is one below. It’s the one thing that Angela Bassett was not happy with.

Black Panther 2 was a good movie. There were some points that some may not understand if you didn’t read the comic book. There are some points where some may not like the story line and that was one of the one things that Angela Bassett didn’t like. So, listen, the next line is a spoiler! Queen Ramona is murdered. When Angela Bassett saw that in the script, she immediately contacted director Ryan Coogler.

According to IndieWire Angela Bassett said, “I objected. Yeah, I was like, ‘Ryan, what are you doing? Why? You will rue the day! You will rue the demise of [Ramonda]. People are gonna be so upset.” Ryan gave her assurance by saying “Angela, I know, I know, but look, to die is not really to die in this world. It doesn’t really have to mean that.”

This could mean a lot. If you are a Marvel fan, you know that once the movie is over, you don’t leave the theater. After the credits roll, you will get a glimpse into what is next to come in the Marvel universe. I won’t spoil that for you, but I will say maybe Ryan Coogler has something up his sleeve.
