This right here is wild. A woman got in front of grieving family and friends and sang Future’s ‘March Madness” at her boyfriend’s funeral.
I figured there was a bit more to it. March Madness is most definetly a popular song. The girlfriend talked about how and her boyfriend used to sing the song together in the club. She went on to say “Now, I gotta sing it without you.” She continued, “Dirty soda in a Styrofoam/Spend a day to get my mind blown. Dress it up and go to NASA/Two hundred miles on the dash/Gotta roll a pound up and gas it/Switchin’ lanes in a Grand Rapid/We the ones that kept it cool with all these n**gas/’Til these n**gas started actin.'”
People grieve in different ways. Maybe this was her way of grieving. This song was something special between them, and she decided to share it.
