From Black-ish to Grown-ish to executive producer, Marsai Martin has broken many barriers before the age of 21 that some don't until their 30's or 40's.

As I attended DDA or Disney Dreamers Academy 2023, I received a great opportunity. There were many celebrities in attendance as special guests. Media personnel received opportunities to interview a few of these celebrities, and Marsai was one of them. I was able to ask of one of the last questions and the perfect question came to me. Marsai became of the youngest black female executive producers in Hollywood. I know how hard it can be as a black woman in the entertainment world, so I know being under the age of 21 and accomplishing so much before others can be difficult to navigate. Checkout the video below of Marsai discussing difficult barriers she had to break as a young black woman in an executive producer role.
