The "Tyler" who vandalized the North Carolina water tower professing his love for A came forward. He was issued a citation but won't face any additional consequences for his actions.
This story instantly made me think of a couple of county songs John Deer Green by Joe Diffie and Water Tower Town by Scotty McCreery. But no this was real life. The Waxhaw North Carolina water tower was vandalized over the weekend by someone named Tyler. He climbed the tower and used it as a place to profess his love to someone referred to as "A". And while "A" may see this as a romantic gesture the Town of Waxhaw Police Department did not view it the same way. The posted pictures of the vandalism to Facebook asking for the public's help in finding Tyler.
The message, posted Monday afternoon, reads:
