South Carolina College Launches New Bourbon Whiskey
Different colleges/universities are known for doing different things. The big schools have been known as sports schools for the most part. But, because their sports accomplishments are so well publicized that the other accomplishments are achieved in other departments.
In Greenville, South Carolina they have a new way of showing school spirit at a college there. At a launch party for the clearly Furman campaign, Furman University launched its new private-label straight bourbon whiskey. Elizabeth Lichtenberg, Senior Director of Brand Strategy and Visual Communications for Furman said that Furman University’s new bourbon, All the Time Bourbon, is a huge hit. The Furman family has something they can now take pride in and the bourbon also gave them a new way to celebrate. This new Bourbon is probably going to be around for a while.
The school’s bourbon was given to a small group of university employees as a preview last May. They also brainstormed and threw ideas around about what the name should be for the bourbon. The label was designed by Furman graphic designer Chris Turner. All the Time’s quality will not only be open to students at Furman but also to everyone, even those who aren’t associated with the school. Check out the full story here from WSPA.
