The summer is steadily approaching and if you have a teenager that visits Carowinds often during the summer, you may want to keep reading slowly.

Over the years, we have heard of various incidents that have happened at the park. Because of this, safety has to continue to be important to Carowinds so new policies are being implemented. If you haven’t heard, Carowinds is celebrating 50 years. They have spruced up the park with new decor, rides, and more to help celebrate.

Carowinds is implementing a new chaperone policy. This policy doesn’t allow teenagers 15 years to visit or stay in the park after 4pm without a chaperone. The chaperone that visits must have a valid ID with a valid birthdate on it. Each chaperone can be responsible for no more than 10 teenagers during a visit to the park. Enjoy your summers with the new policy.
