50 Cent Is Coming To Charlotte

If there is any concert that jumps out at me, this is the one. 50 Cent has announced a new tour called "The Final Lap" tour and it's coming to Charlotte.

If you're a fan of hip hop, you had to be a fan of the album "Get Rich or Die Trying". I know that I was. We knew of 50 and his crew, but this album here? This album was the one. August 16th is the date that the tour will be here in Charlotte.

Getting tickets to this show early won't be as easy as it has been in the past. It seems that 50 Cent has taken an approach that Beyonce used recently for her tour. Fans register for an access code for pre-sale. When you get the code, it allows you to purchase tickets on a pre-sale with the code.  I believe this is done to help ensure that real fans get their hands on tickets. I'm not sure how it helps with those only purchasing just for resale, but I sure do understand. If you want to register for a presale code, you can do so now through Sunday. The Super Bowl Halftime performance is always a treat and this year was no different as several hip-hop icons took over the stage.

Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar were all billed as the headliners for the LVI Super Bowl (Feb. 13). However, what came as a surprise to fans was that 50 Cent also came out to perform his '03 hit "In Da Club" which of course involved him rapping a couple of lines upside down, a nod to his iconic music video.

As many memes of 50 Cent were made Sunday night, the Power creator also got in on the fun and posted some of his favorite memes from the night for those who did not get his rapping upside-down reference.
