A Second Grade Girl Has Shirt Taken By Teacher
A second grader had her shirt taken by her teacher. The second grader was wearing an Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. shirt with 1908 at the bottom. The teacher, who is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, In. was not having it. She had the shirt removed from the girl and gave her another shirt.
She removed the shirt before she spoke to the girl’s parents. She did send an email later letting the parents know that she had the shirt removed and why. The parent acted as if she did not understand. Well, let’s put it plain and simple. If you are not a member of the group you are not to wear the member materials. It is just that simple. The teacher felt as if she did the right thing by having the girl remove the shirt. I feel differently.
