Halloween is upon us in a few weeks and people will need things to do. Here are five fun and spooky things to do for Halloween.

First up is SCarowinds! Starting in early September, Carowinds made its transformation into SCarowinds and will stay spooky until October 29. During this time there will be ghouls and goblins in the yard of the amusement park and a few events such as The Great Pumpkin Fest on October 21. Right now you can get a 2024 Gold pass for unlimited visits & free parking for the rest of 2023 and all of 2024, including SCarowinds and Winterfest
that starts on November 17.

The next spooky move, we are sure you will love it! It's a Halloween Silent Disco! Get spooked in your best costume and come jam out with Hi-Wire Brewing Charlotte as they host this year’s Silent Disco on October 27 at 7:30 pm. Headphones are limited so make sure you’re on time, you do NOT want to miss this! You can come sing your heart out to your favorite songs while switching between 3 different DJ channels. Tickets are on sale now for $10.

If you like to have a few drinks with your fun, then this next spooky move is for you. For the 21 and up crowd, there are some extra treats for you! Come enjoy a 3-day bar crawl with participating bars in the Charlotte Area. Registration is at Bowlero on Oct. 27 and 31 from 6 pm – 11 pm and also October 28 from 4 pm – 10 pm. Participating bars include Bowlero, Connolly’s On Fifth, The Local, Mortimer’s Café and Pub, Prohibition, RI RA, and SIP!

The Carolina History and Haunts is something that is super different.  Even though tours are hosted all year long, what better time to take a haunting tour than this Halloween season! During this tour you will be guided by lantern light through some Uptown while being told stories and haunts of the local area. 6 Of The Most Terrifying Haunted Attractions In North Carolina

Scared yet? Spooky season is upon us which means it's time to plan your Halloween fun. And what is Halloween without visiting at least one Haunted House, trail, or attraction? Why watch a horror movie when you could experience it for yourself? There are many haunted attractions in North Carolina, so chances are there is one near you. Some are haunted houses or indoor mazes. Others are outdoors through corn mazes, woods, or perhaps lakeside. And the best part? Most of these haunted locations have a number of attractions so you get lots of scares for your money.

I've chosen to highlight six of the best-haunted attractions in North Carolina. These are all in the greater Charlotte region, within about an hour and a half drive from the Queen City. And even if some of these are a little far- they are worth the drive for sure! Each location on this list offers something unique and is either one I personally have visited or has come highly recommended by friends! As with any haunted experience, the goal of these attractions is to find any way to scare you. One even says if someone hasn't peed their pants by the end of the night well they didn't do their job. So these are not for the faint of heart. Most have restrictions and will not allow children under the age of 12 to visit.

So visit or enter at your own risk. If you dare. Keep reading to see 6 of the best haunted attractions in the Charlotte North Carolina region. Have an attraction you love that I missed? Be sure to reach out to us on social media to let us know! Happy Haunting.

Tickets are $25 and include access to all three attractions or you purchase a "fast pass" for an additional cost.
