Future Gives Update On Joint Metro Boomin Project
Future, who has been quite mum this year despite hopping on a couple of tracks, is finally speaking out about his highly anticipated project with Metro Boomin. On Saturday (Dec. 23), the rapper took to his Instagram Story with a repost of a May X (formerly known as Twitter) post reading, “Pluto x Metro.” Pluto is the name of Future’s debut album and a nickname for the rapper after its success.
The post also reads: “Album [is] on the way [eagle emoji].”
The two have worked together several times over the years, including “Mask Off,” “Wicked,” and “Low Life.” The duo has also worked with Drake on “Jumpman” and “Where Ya At.”
Fans went into the comment section of the post and urged for Drake to be on the project, despite the fact that he and Metro currently have beef.
“If Drake ain’t in it don’t want it,” one fan wrote.
Another fan brought up Drake and Metro’s current relationship: “I know they have this weird beef going on but what are the odds of Drake getting on the project?”
“Can’t wait to hear Drake diss Metro on his own beat,” another fan wrote.
Metro Boomin Teases Future Project
Metro Boomin also recently teased the project.
“Coming Soon [eagle emoji x3],” the Grammy-nominated producer tweeted on Tuesday (Dec. 19) with a photo of Future in the studio attached.

The producer did not give an exact date on when fans should expect the album.
Fans went into the comment section to give their opinion on the Metro/Drake drama and the anticipation for the project.
“Metro really got full custody of Future from Drake,” one fan Metro really got full custody of Future from Drake
“I’ve started to hate the word Soon,” another fan I’ve started to hate the word Soon
As for the beef between Metro Boomin and Drake, the producer didn’t think Heroes & Villains got enough recognition like Her Loss, which was Drizzy and 21 Savage’s 2022 joint project. The Toronto rapper hit him back with some subliminal messages calling him out for deleting his retweet, and he also unfollowed him on Instagram.
