Jameis Winston Under Fire For Last Play Of The Season
Jameis Winston is under fire for the last play of the NFL season for the New Orleans Saints. Jameis and the Saints lead the Falcons 41-17 in the game. The game was basically over. When the game is basically decided most NFL teams usually get in what they call a “victory formation” and just kneel the ball down indicating they are not going to run a regular play. This is what the Saints did. The Saints showed a victory formation and it appeared as if they were just going to kneel on the ball. Well, that is not what happened. The Saints actually ran a play handing the ball off to the running back who scored a touchdown. Here is the play.
Football fans everywhere had comments about the last. Some say it is a disrespect to the game. Others say that you play every down every play and that the Falcons and the rest of the world is soft. I actually agree that the play was not disrespectful and the Falcons play throughout the game was more disrespectful to the game than that last play. Jameis Winston explained the decision about the last play
If you don’t want the score ran up then do something about it. Hey Falcons get over it.
