Virginia Man Buys 30 Lottery Tickets; All Are Winners
A Virginia man is $150,000 richer after he purchased 30 lottery tickets that all turned out to be winners. Suffolk resident Dana Bickham says he purchased the Lottery Pick 4 tickets in September, selecting the same four-digit sequence for each: 1-1-2-9. The prize for matching all four numbers is $5000, so when Bickham’s numbers were drawn, he won $150,000, lottery officials say. “I thought, ‘You’ve got to be kidding me,’” Bickham recalled when he collected his winnings on Wednesday. It’s not the first time Bickham’s numbers have paid off for him. In May of last year, he purchased 25 tickets with the same number combination and won $125,000, lottery officials confirm.
